Tring Pickers- Your local Antiques Treasure Trove

From the age of 16 Barry Jacobs aka ‘Baz’ worked as a  high-end jeweller with a studio in London’s Hatton Garden.
After 20 years, he packed in to follow his passion for unearthing interesting antiques. He loved the idea of creating a local treasure trove, which would transport people back through history to discover artefacts from all over the world, right here in Tring!
Dolls from Germany, Rugs from Afganhistan, Ceramics from the Netherlands, Mirrors from France and Victorian Paintings from good old blighty.
Around 40% of purchases are to the ‘trade’ for film sets or to Antique retailers which, means Tring folk can capitalise on ever changing stock at ’trade’ prices.
Anything collectors find interesting ‘Baz’ will potentially stock, from Toys and magazines to posters and pub memorabilia. If you have something specific in mind talk to Baz and he will endeavour to source it.
Of course he hasn’t left the jewellery world behind entirely, he still gets asked for commissions for special rings and necklaces .
He also still does repairs and maintenance to quality standards of Hatton Gardens.

So if you are looking for Antique Jewellery, African Art, French Mirrors, Vintage Toys, Pub memorabilia or Ships in a bottle, come in and chat to Baz . If you have interesting antiques you want to sell then, talk to Baz and he will happily give you his opinion.
